Mi nombre es Nicolás Avendaño. Tengo 35 años y soy chileno. Amante de la naturaleza y el deporte. Fui marinero durante 10 años y navegué por la zona austral del continente sudamericano.
Mirando por mi ventana, me convencí de la importancia del agua y los glaciares en nuestro planeta, y me comprometí a defenderlos.
Bajé a tierra para estudiar como paramédico y guía de montaña, comenzando así un largo camino hacia la conservación ambiental y los derechos de la naturaleza.

My name is Nicolás Avendaño. I am 35 years old and I am Chilean. A lover of nature and sports. I was a sailor for 10 years and navigated through the southern region of the South American continent.
Looking out my window, I became convinced of the importance of water and glaciers on our planet and committed myself to defending them.
I went ashore to study as a paramedic and mountain guide, thus beginning a long journey towards environmental conservation and the rights of nature.
